Thanks for taking the time to listen to "Swim With The Tide"-it is much appreciated!!! It's funny you mention using a harmonica, I thought about that when I was writing and recording the song and still may try to add it at some point. If you come up with a harmonica part let me know, I would love to hear it.
How is your shoulder doing?? I do remember that you were having surgery. I had shoulder surgery 2 years ago-not as extensive as yours I don't think but it kept me from playing guitar for a quite a while. I was first able to play an electric because the depth of the body was less and a lot more comfortable for my shoulder. It still bothers me if I play for too long but I'm willing to put up with that. Are you able to play at all yet??? I have been playing with my "garage band" but have also become part of an acoustic trio and we have started to play some open mics it has been a lot of fun and I'm looking forward to doing more of it. Perhaps we can connect over the summer and play sometime.
Snowfall! That some rather nice BS! My wife would love that! All this beauty and creativity gags me!LOL You are a pretty special person apparently. Nice to have run into you in this way! Can you spell irreverent SOB!
Thanks for your kind words...I am wrapping up song number two of a five song EP right now. as soon as I have a pre-mix of it I plan to post them both...I won't do the final mixes until all are recorded and I do the final master mix on them all together. Edward
Great songs, great words. It would be great to jam together. If you ever go to the Winfield Festival let me know as I play there every year and have a great time. We could make some fine MUSE together.
All the best with your MUSE and writing.
Thanks for the invite and input. I'm not familliar with ADAT but will do some research. Living fairly remote in southern MO makes a trip to the studio kinda tuff for now, but we'll see.
-- really like your music, the Chris Isaak comment was meant in a very complementary way. I think the pink suit should be considered optional.
Thanks for the heads up on the K4. I see you play a Taylor. I enjoyed your music. I am a huge fan of Taylor guitars. I recently added a 614 to my stable of high end guitars. The K4 is a must have if you are playing acoustic. Jeff
Hi Patrick I like the looks of your Taylor,my 12 string is a Alverez its not a Martin or Taylor but it does the trick.unfortunatly the bridge is stating to lift off.I have 12 guitars so maybe its time to get rid of a couple and get a Martin12 string.I have been a Martin man for a while and have had 8 of them. But now I'm down to 2,my goal is to get a Taylor and another Guild.I had a Guild about 18 years ago and wouldn't mind one now.I guess I suffer from the G.A.S. syndrome but if I had to have a problem thats a good one to have.
