Hi Paul,
I love guitars too every since i was 5 years old.I have a Strat copy and one acoustic that needs new strings. Thanks for adding me as a friends
Thanks for adding me as a friend. I am so glad I started playing again. I played as a kid and then left it for years (i'm not gonna say how many lol!) Bought myself a new guitar a few years ago and fell in love with it again. I've mostly been working on Led Zeppelin - just cant leave the folksy ones alone. Who are your favorites from the 70's?
Hi Paul,
Got your reply...the gauge seems a little light for me...do you have any fret buzzing or are you really light handed? I notice that they call this gauge "Heavy Electric"...that's pretty interesting. So, if there are purely electric strings, do you find the acoustic sound appealing...people say that I have to choose one or the other and go with that and sacrifice the other...that's why I was trying the "Zebras". But, I remaining open minded and still experimenting and so I'll give your brand and gauge a try soon!
Thanks for your feedback and suggestion! Edward
I see you own an Epi J160E model...I own the Gibson version and love it...what strings do you use? I have been using a brand called "Zebra" which have wound strings wound every other strand bronze and steel...this is supposed to give the best sound acoustically but still give the pickup something magnetic to pickup! What do you use?
Thanks, Edward http://mysite.verizon.net/emsparks/index.htm
