Dick,
Thanks for letting me know of the availability of the church for a possible jam session. I'll wait a few more days this week to see how many respond. (Your the only one, so far). I'll get back to you, probably before this week is over.
Thanks for letting me know about it. It was fun. I wish I could have stayed longer, but my wife came home from work around 8pm and I hadn't seen her in a couple of days (she's a shift nurse). She's back at work again this morning. (Sheesh!)
I enjoyed listening to the Alvarez and your style of playing. I wish I had the chance to stay a bit longer and talk as well. I even tried enticing my wife to stop by on her way home so I could stay longer. Didn't work. Let me know when you're up there again and I'll try to make it up there. Maybe even bring the family and help fill the place.
Welcome, Dick Cooper!
Glad to have more members. Sounds like you are a pretty accomplished player.
We discuss all sorts of things about guitars. Playing styles, types of guitars, types of music. etc I haven't seen tabs on here, but I suspect they are legal. (I get a lot of great stuff from www.chordie.com. You've probably already used it. It is free and provides thousands of lyrics, chords, tabs, and incredibly, key changes at the click of your mouse.)
I'm probably just a little bit better than average player; folk-rock, country, and soft rock of 50's, 60's 70's and 80's. I am able to sing lead or harmony fairly well.
Can't wait to meet and play and sing with many of our Buckeye Pickers.
More later.
Mr. Cooper,
Please consider joining the group "Buckeye Pickers". We are looking to add more members and thinking about having a jam session this fall, in or around Columbus.

Thanks for the heads-up. I'll try to get there tomorrow night around 7-8pm. It's where the old Rico Latte was, isn't it?
