Well, Donna. Looks like me neither, but for a good reason. Becoming a grandad for the first time in May, and will be making a few trips to Idaho this spring and summer. Sorry we won't get a chance to pick this year. Maybe next?

You asked if I arranged Creole Belle. I guess. I've tried to learn it just like MJH, and then I heard Taj Mahal play it with a verse about living in the country. Then I played it 40 years, and it comes out a little different than originally intended. But I like it. It relaxes me when I play it and brings back many memories.

It seems we have a very similar interest in music. Mary Flower is a friend and one of my favorite guitarist/singers of all time. Have you learned any of her tunes? Thanks for asking about Creole Bell.
I wouldn't so much call it arranging as playing it for 40 years and unknowingly gently drift away from my original attempt to play it exactly like John Hurt. (That goal which was never really attained.) Taj Mahal does a version where he added a verse about living in the country I thought was cool, but I couldn't find it recorded anywhere so I made up my own, which I love to sing. The Taco Bell verse was irreverently added by my old music partner from the 70's in Colorado, Scott Bennett, which now and then I still tag on if I'm feeling feisty. So no I didn't arrange it, but it is my arrangement.
