How did you get your pictures to load inside the message you left in the Guitar makers group? I thought I was loading mine so they would appear in the message and instead they appeared as a bunch of links??? Let me know what you think of my 8 string!

Brent...I just got a better look at some of your sound hole designs..."purty" darn nifty...I think some of the super looking rosettes are wood inlays versus the momma pearls etc.... some folks like the flashy glitter...I do too, but, the grain, light and dark contrasts of wood really puts a classy touch on the finished product. I just like wood!!

What a gorgeous beauty there Brent. I noticed on #8 the placement of the position markers.....makes sense, easier to find between the frets looking downward. I joined this group as a wanna be builder/maker...have done some repair work and am colllecting/buying tools and wood. Haven't decided to go kit first versus just jumping in....probably just jump in...that's my style, just go for broke on the learning curve. I purchased "guitar building" by Cumpiano & Natelson afew years ago..have read the book at least 7 times. Have some other stuff too. You must get one heck of a sense of pride and satisfaction after standing back and admiring the finished work.....you surely should, no different than the Man up Above on the 7th day. It that your guitar Bill is playing on the song, if yes or no....it sounds easy and mello.

I'm envious!
