Hi Tim- Don't get to my page often enough lately... missed your workshop in Arcata, CA. Thanks for the message though, I'll do better checking those messages. Anyway, I hope it went well. Had you been in this neck of the woods before? Let us know when you will be back. Cheers, Ted

Great list of noteables you've played with. I also want to congratulate you on becoming a featured contributor to AG. I live in central Kansas and have attended the Walnut Valley Bluegrass Festival in Winfield. A great environment for Bluegrass and folk style music. My favorite times are going from campsite to campsite singin' and playin'. Trying real hard to get the organizers to book Wil Maring and Robert Boling. Robert is a past winner there! Hope maybe to run into you there some day!

Have a great day Sir!

Hello to you Tim,
Thanks for the video, You and Brad Davis were really putting out some hot licks on "Farewell Blues". That's some great talent you've got going for you...most impressive. I hope you will share some more of it with us on this site soon. Happy pickin' to you.

Howdy Tim,
Good to run into you. I'm a transplanted Texan stuck in Ohio (ex-wife, what else). Playing South Texas honky tonk with a 3 piece up here. Could have seen you in Columbus with Patty?
See ya.

Tim welcome to the group. It's quite the place to be. Do you happen to know Clay Hess? Got to meet him at a Martin guitars get together in Nazareth last August where he was performing along with Jon Garon and Richard Starkey.
Take Care, Rick Benjamin

Ever heard of a "Piccolo Mandolin?" Gibson made one early on and I once read an article in Frets (I think) about one and it prompted me to build an instrument similar to it...Edward Sparks
