Welcome to the Acoustic Guitar Community.

This is an arrangement for steel string of Bach's famous keyboard prelude in C It opened his collection of preludes and fugues in every key, and was written to celebrate the advent of "Well Tempered Tuning", which allowed keyboards to finally be able to play in tune in all keys.

It also opened the way for the rise of modern harmony, which produced the great music of the 19th century.

I arranged this in such a way as to maximize the ringing quality of the steel strings.

Jamie: That was very nice. Which guitar are you using for that piece?

That was wonderful. Thank you for sharing that piece. I love to hear how all music is really inter-connected. So many people don't realize this. Thank you for reminding me of why I love music so much.

Gee, you know I am terrible at recording, and hardly know what I am doing! I think I do something different every time, until I get a sound I like.

I believe I did this with my shure ksm500, playing through a fender acoustasonic, using, I guess, its reverb and chorus.

Wonderful!

How did you record this?
with just the line signal or mix of mike and line?
and what reverb did you use?
