Hi Toni,
Here are the facts,...
Within one month after it was introduced at Winter NAMM '10, we sold 1200, world wide..! I have been a guitarist and part time luthier most of my life. That's a long time..:) We designed Cooperstand to be the most stable stand on the market. We had to brake away from tradition to do that. Simple concept,.. Just like the tall buildings in LA are on rollers so they move when the ground shakes, Cooperstand moves with the guitar if you bump it. The traditional idea in stands was to build an awkward tripod, or something so stiff and clunky that the stand would not move. Tripods tip over... and the light weight of a guitar allows it to be knocked out of a rigid stand. Try to do what I did with my Taylor in the video with anything else you are currently using. Check the testimonials on the website.. Ask Stevie Coyle, Brad Paisley, Ricky Skaggs, Phil Keaggy, or Elderly Instruments etc.. When you end up with yours, let me know how you like it....
Best, my friend,

I think it is a pretty cool stand. How secure is it if you push the guitar to the front from behind?
