Leavin' Soon (Original)
This is one of my earliest songs. I first wrote it around 1978 but with a filler last verse. Set it aside for several years and came back to it.
I wrote a good replacement last verse in 1982 and recorded the song for the first time back then.
This video was recorded on 7-13-07.
Previously posted on my now closed gilchannel account, this video now features newly remastered audio. A long overdue update.

Hi Gil;
Surfing the AGC site on this rainy day in Florida and came across some of your posts and checked out this video. Great song and sound, I enjoyed it. It takes me back to a sound of days past from a group called America and their song A Horse With No Name. Your sound is definitely different and your own, but yet similar in some ways.
I just started a group for Small Body Guitars and Other Sizes last week here on AGC, drop by sometime.
